ULTRA GUARD is a FM approved fire-resistant hydraulic fluid. It is formulated to be difficult to ignite and will not propagate a flame from an ignition source. However, like all fire resistant fluids, ULTRA GUARD is not fireproof. Fire resistant fluids will still ignite and burn given specific conditions. In order to address problems with thermal stability commonly encountered with polyol-ester-based fire resistant fluids, ULTRA GUARD is formulated with engineered natural oils that have been designed for superior thermal stability.
